I know i'm a little behind, since easter was a month ago. But i just haven't had any time. Growing up, we always got our Easter baskets on Saturday so that their was a distinction between easter bunny and the savior, the real meaning of easter. My mother would hide them and we had to find them on your own. i always remember being able to find everybody's but my own. Of course when your a kid, you probably just feel that way even though its not true. So Matthew got his easter basket on Saturday. I was going to hide it for him but before i could, i heard a crash from the other room. I go in to find Matthew sitting in the middle of the contents of his basket. Oh well, maybe next year. : ) His favorite thing from the basket was sitting and taking the jelly beans in and out of the eggs, not actually eating any of them.
For Easter we went over to my mother's house for a ham dinner with all the fixings and my mom even got out her good china, which we have not eaten off of in a couple of years. Then we just hung out in the front yard on the lawn, while the children played and such. It was nice just to be able to sit out in the fresh air and relax.
