1. We had a thank you party for my dad for all of his hard work over the years. It was like a retirement party, except he didnt really retire. He is on sabbatical. : )
2. On January 1st we went up to Flagstaff and played in the snow. We think that we are going to make it a new years tradition.

Your dad sure looks like he's enjoying his party! Hahaha!
I wish we could have a tradition of driving to the snow... rather than living in it! Ha! That sounds like it'll be a fun tradition. We would always drive up Mt. Graham and try to find some snow. Sometimes it would just be some patches and other times there would be a lot.
So did you wrap books and open one each night and read a story before bed?
