Christmas was lots of fun. We had to get up at 6:30am to do presents, which if you know mine and matty's 8am wake up time, that was super early. Matthew was a little confused when i woke him up and brought him out. He was like why is there stuff over there that wasn't there yesterday. Once he got the idea of opening presents though, he was all for it. He got a alphabet ride on train, and tool center and a few other things from us. He loves his alphabet train and i have all the songs memorized. : ) He got the paper pad and crayons from his Grandma Walker. Right after he opened them, he started coloring, it was so funny. He also got the adorable alphabet quilt from his Grandma Walker, which he cuddled right up into.
Nick got some Wii games, and legos, dvds and other things i cant remember right now. I got a cupcake holder, a brownie pan and a few other little things. My mom also got me the Good Eats cookbooks, part 1 and 2. I love them. Seriously i am in love with Good Eats. ( its a show on food network with Alton Brown for those who dont know. )
After presents we got up and got ready to go to church with Nick's parents which started at 8am, ugh, so wrong on Christmas. His parents were part of their ward choir and they did a wonderful job singing. Matthew didnt have very much fun though, we spent most of the time in the hallway. Then we went to his parents for breakfast, presents, puzzles, games and just hanging out. We stayed all day, until right after dinner, when Matthew was becoming a beast. At this point we quickly packed up and went to my parents, put Matthew down for bed, and we just relaxed. Nick read his new book and i played games with my mom and sister in law. Overall, it was a very nice Christmas. : )
