I hope everyone has a wonderful 4th! And between all of the swimming, movies, hot dogs, pies and fireworks, remember the great men that helped form this great country. Today we will be hanging out with family, swimming, eating, and watching 1776.
What is 1776 you ask? Only the best musical ever made. Ok maybe not the best, but certainly the best when it comes to the 4th of july. It is a musical that tells the story of how the Deceleration of Independence came to me, and it is pretty historically accurate. while being very entertaining at the same time. ( i can say this and not be biased, because my English class junior year watched it and everyone in that class loved it. so if a bunch of teenagers think its cool, it is.) I cant remember a 4th of July my entire life that i didn't watch 1776, seriously. So here is a little trailer for you to see just a bit of the coolness. : ) And if that doesn't persuade you to watch it, well then think about Mr Feeny from Boy Meets World playing John Adams, i think that's pretty intriguing.
