There is nothing quite like sitting in the living room, and then hearing your baby make some funny sqeaky mouse noises. They always make me laugh. To then walk into his room, to get him from his sunday afternoon nap, only to find, him, his nice white onesie, the mattress, bumper, crib railings and the binkie he is currently sucking on, covered in nice orange poop. It was so disgusting. To make things even more amusing the moment i looked over the crib and realized this little mess, Matthew starts laughing hysterically like he is in on some kind of practical joke. Unfortuantly the joke was on me.
After i gave Matthew a good scrub down in the tub, put the bumper and clothes in the washing machine, i started to scrub the crib. I looked down at Matthew, lying comfortable on the floor drinking his bottle with that sweet innocent face which seemed to say welcome to motherhood. Although i have been a mother for the short period of 8 months, this little incident reminded me that being a mother is a never ending series of learning experiences, not only for Matthew but especially for me.

great/super gross story :)
That's the worst. Hope it does not happen too often. He is cute though:)
That is really disgusting, but he is cute! I meant to tell you, the other day when I was watching him, he reminded me how Scott was when he was that age. Just cute and happy with all the toys around him! :) It was a good memory for me!
I love that little boy!
