On Saturday was Jennifer's Bridal Shower. I offered to do all the food. Now i dont know what i was thinking. i love to cook, but this was a little much of an undertaking to do all by myself. Everything was going as planned until i showed up at moms on saturday morning, to no power!! Seriously no electricity when i am trying to make all this food, not cool. I was flipping out to say the least. The power didnt come on until 11 and the shower was suppose to start at noon. Its a good thing i cooked the chicken the night before. But in order to cook the red potatoes i needed i had to boil them on the grill. It was interesting. Not only did i not have any power, i didnt have any help. Except for my wonderful mother. She was my sous chef! So thank you mommy. Magically i got all the food done and out at noon. It was a miracle. I was so thankful because i was freaking out.
I made chicken sandwhich wraps, lemon basil potatoes, fruit salad, strawberry spinach salad and chocolate and vanilla mini cheescakes, and cram puffs. All the food was wonderful. unfortuantly i was so frazled i didnt get a picture of the food. Such a shame. It was good though, i promise. Next time i do this, im gonna get a couple of sous chefs. :)

yea just like Iron Chef or something. Do it for me sometime@ I will think of a reason.
