Thanksgiving 2012

    This year we spent Thanksgiving with my family. My brother Tim and sister in law Joni hosted at their house. Thanksgiving is by far one of my favorite holidays. How could you not like a day full of eating food?! And spending time with family. I was looking forward to this day for like a month and a half, and it did not disappoint. : ) All the food was yummy yummy yummy!!! : ) I made rolls and candied yams and cranberry sauce and pecan pie. Other things that were there were mashed potatoes, green bean casserole ( which i loved this year ) corn, jello salad, broccoli salad, green salad, gravy, sweet potato pie and more tons of pies.

   After we ate all of that yummy ( i kept eating it ) The kids played outside and in the playroom, football was on the television and then we had our Thanksgiving soccer game. The kids also made turkeys out of oreos. They were adorable.  Matthew slept through most of the day, but he did have fun when he was awake. Him and Ellis esacped through a whole in the fence into the neighbors backyard because apparently their backyard had cooler looking toys. Nick and Courtney had to go over and get them. I turned around just as Matthew was going through the fence, and the only thing that went through my head was nothing so i could only say help, i need help. Because obviously i wasn't climbing a fence to get them back. ( the house they went over to is actually the house that my parents built and we lived in for forever, just in case someone like kimber recognizes it )  Matthew also had lots of fun playing with Grandpa in the backyard, kicking balls and swinging on the swings.

 I think that it was over all a very successful Thanksgiving. ( writing this post makes me want all that food all over again, good thing i have a turkey in the freezer : ) )
