6 months old and counting.....

Matthew is 6 months old. Actually he is now 6 days away from being 7 months old but whatever, i have been a little slow on the posts this month. Well when he went to the doctor about 3 weeks ago, matthew weighed 18 pounds and was 29 inches long. He is 75% for weight andd 97% percent for height. He is one big boy. He is growing out of all his clothes. which is sad for me because i like the clothes that he has. Its funny too becuase he still fits in them width wise but height wise i can button the bottoms of them because he is too long. i am also having to buy 9 month old clothes simply for there length because the 6 -9 month old clothes are too short.
matthew loves to army crawl. Its crazy. he tries to crawl and he gets up on all fours and will shake back and forth and maybe go forward a step but then he falls and decides army crawling is much faster. which it is for him. he is super fast. He follows me around the house and when we are at my parents house, i am constantly losing him because i will turn around for one second and then turn back around and he will be gone. On to some thing that he has found interesting around the corner. I am just lucky that they dont have any stairs.
I am a very happy mommy because Matthew is such an easy baby. He is sleep trained and smiles at me whenever i put him down for a nap, its so cute. matthew has learned to pull him self up on things. So now whenever i go to get him in his crib, he is pulled up on the crib bars. he looks like a little prisoner especially when he tries to put him face through the bars. I love it!  He also is very good at entertaining himself, especially when he has cousins around to play with. he loves his cousin tala. She is so patient with him and loves to entertain him.
The other day i was in Amy's van with tala and matthew and we were on our way to try on dresses for my sisters wedding. Well when i put matthew in the car, i asked tala if she would entertain him. she said yes aunty amber. A few minutes later Amy has me look in the childrens mirror on the van and tala is singin einsie wiensy spider to matthew with the actions and everything. It was so cute. She then continued to entertain him the whole way there. : )

Eve and Peter came to visit for Joseph's wedding. Here they are playing on grandma walkers bed.

This is Ms. Havirshom. She sits in my parents front room window every halloween. Its actually really creepy at night. The dress is actually my moms wedding dress. this year my mom and i put it up. We built a life size doll stand that we came up with all by ourselves. We are cool. :)
